KS KOPA, KS KOPA - BIG

The KS KOPA filter system consists of the mounting frame and filter cartridges filled with activated carbon. The cartridges are made of anodised metal or stainless steel. The KS KOPA BIG cartridges are used for high flow rates.
Field of application: Exhaust equipment in paint shops, removal of odours from kitchens and barbecue grills, adsorption of kerosene in airport terminal buildings, welding operations exhaust equipment, adsorption of harmful pollutants from soldering, industrial harmful pollutants from the chemical and electrotechnical industry, smog gases, and nuclear power plants.

The units provide an operational solution for separating gaseous harmful pollutants from the natural or waste air. The units are made of aluminium frame sections, the jacketing is made of zinc-coated sheet. As standard, they are equipped with the two-stage filtration: 1st stage = F7 bag filters for filtering fine dust particles, 2nd stage = KS KOPA filter cartridges. The KS KOPA, KS BD filter system is recommended and approved by the Czech Environmental Inspectorate Prague.

KS BD BIG filter units

They offer a very operative solution of the separation of harmful gaseous pollutants from the inlet or waste air in case of high concentrations of pollutants and flow rates. The compact units KS BD BIG can immediately be connected to the air-conditioning pipeline. Due to its stable structure, we recommend that the KS BD BIG units should be mounted on a concrete base.

The KS AFP compact filters provide an excellent solution for removing molecular pollutants and improvement of the quality of the inlet and circulating air in the air conditioned buildings. The filter frame is made of recycled non-flammable halogenless polystyrene, the filter medium is sealed in the frame with polyurethane.
Field of application: Microelectrotechnical industry, airports, hotels, restaurants, administrative buildings, museums, hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical industry, and smog gases.

Active carbon - non-impregnated

Activated carbon formed by cylindrical granules with a diameter of 3 - 4 mm and length of 4 - 8 mm. High resistance to abrasion, ideal for the adsorption of organic hydrocarbons and odours.
Field of application: Adsorption of odours and harmful gases.

Active carbon - impregnated

Impregnated granular activated carbon is used for the adsorption of gases and vapours that are adsorbed by standard activated carbon very little or are not adsorbed at all. This applies to low-molecular and polar substances with a low concentration and toxic effects.
Use: Used in KS KOPA and KS BD systems.

(G2, G3) The KS Glas 1" and 2" filter medium consists of twisted elastic glass fibres arranged at random and at a contact point fixed with a special plastic. In order to achieve a better binding and separation of particles, the medium is saturated with a not harmful dust-binding agent.
Field of application: They are used as pre-filters in air conditioning and ventilation units, especially for the adsorption of coarse dust particles in industrial facilities, warehouses, and factory buildings.

(M6, G4) The Glas C filter medium is made of glass fibres and has a high thermal resistance of up to 190 °C. On the side of clean air, it has a special protecting layer. The special medium Glas 300 is made of glass fibres with a thermal resistance of up to 300 °C.
Field of application: Glas C is used for separating fine dust in drying equipment and calcining ovens. Glas 300 is used in the production of filters in drying and calcining equipment in the automotive industry.

(G2, G3) The separator of paint aerosols (Paint Stop) made of progressively compressed and highly elastic and non-flammable glass fibres. The material has a high paint aerosol accumulation capacity from 3,500 to 5,900 g/m2 and thus also a long service change interval.
Field of application: They are especially used for the adsorption of paint aerosols, as floor filters in spray booths.

The protective filter for the adsorption of paint drops in the course of spraying. The Venturi effect in combination with changes in the direction of the flow of air containing paint particles facilitates an effective and highly efficient protection. All types are made of two folded cardboards. The openings in the front panel are situated asymmetrically with respect to the openings in back panel. When the air is passing through the filter, its flow direction is changed in all three axes. In the back panel formed by deeper V-shape folds, there are generated pockets trapping isolated liquid particles.
Field of application: They are used independently or as pre-filters of the multi-stage filtration systems of exhaust equipment in paint shops.

(F7) The KS PAK 85 bag filters are made of glass fibres; on the side of clean air, the filter medium is reinforced with synthetic laminated gauze. The frame can be plastic or zinc-coated.
Field of application: They are used as the second or last stage of filtration for separating fine dust in telecommunications central offices, the food processing industry, hospitals, etc.
